felt dizzy this morning
as I bent myself over to stretch
I thought we should go to the beach
but that thought passed
but it’s true, baby blue I love you

2 years ago we both went

we smoked cigs, out back
as I stared at the holes in your jeans
later we didn’t say goodbye
I texted you drunk a few times

our poetry shouldn’t rhyme
